A. We are available for hire for Debutante Balls, School Formals, Civil Ceremonies, Wine tours, any special occasion really and of course Weddings.

Q. Are you available for weddings outside of Geelong?

A. We are available throughout the Bay City, Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula, Melbourne and Western Victoria; please contact us for a quote.

Q. We would like a Friday night wedding, is that available?

A. Our cars are available for hire any evening and all weekend except for certain public holidays and subject to other bookings.

Q. How many people can you carry in the car?

A. Each of our vehicles is fully licensed to carry 4 passengers and your driver.

Q. How many cars will we need?

A. This is entirely up to you. Generally you have the Bridal car which carries the bride to the church and then the bride and groom for the rest of the day and another car for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. Each car can carry 4 passengers so you can decide what will suit your day the best.

Q. How early do you arrive?

A. We always like to arrive at the Bride’s pickup location early enough for some photos and leave plenty of time to comfortably get to the church/ceremony on time; we will factor in distance and general traffic conditions to ensure that you arrive on time.

Q. Can you pick up the groom and groomsmen and take them to the ceremony as well?

A. If the venue is close by, we can certainly do that and still have time to collect the bride and allow for your photos.

Q. What do you charge for a wedding?

A. We allow 4 hours per wedding from the 1st pick up through to the last drop off. Though each wedding is different, and because of distance, venues, photography locations and size of wedding party it is better to fill in the enquiry/booking form and we will provide you with an accurate quotation.

Q. What do charge for a Debutante Ball or School Formal?

A. It will depend on the distance we have to travel and the time taken so please get in contact with us for a quote.

Q. What happens if we run over the booked time or we want to change the locations for photos on the day?

A. We will do everything possible to accommodate your day and be flexible with your photographer. If we run to schedule the price will not change and we allow 15mins grace anyway. Should you require extra time we charge $ 50 per ½ hour per car there after payable on the day.

Q. What happens if we have the wedding at the reception venue or only need you for a shorter time, is it cheaper?

A. In most cases on weekends, unfortunately not, we have to put in a large amount work for the vehicle presentation to ensure your cars are right on the day whether it is a short or long day and we only allow for one wedding per car per day. Evening weddings and special events can be different so please contact us with the details and we can prepare a quote for you.

Q. We would like a quote or check your availability, what do we do?

A. Please fill in the Booking/Enquiry form which will give us all the information we need to do an accurate quote, then either email it to us or fax it to 5243 1610 and we will get back to you with a price.

Q. We want to book our wedding with you, what do we do?

A. Book as early as possible to ensure you secure the date as we can be very busy. A deposit of $100 per vehicle must be paid once your booking is confirmed.

Q. Can we make a provisional Booking?

A. Lets us know the date and if available we will hold it for 7 days for you so you can confirm your other requirements, but you will need pay the deposit to secure the date after the 7 days.

Q. When do we pay the balance of the money?

A. The balance of the booking must be paid 30 days prior to the day of the wedding. Payments may be made by cash, direct bank deposit, or cheque.

Q. What happens if we have to cancel or change the date?

A. Unfortunately it happens from time to time. If we can accommodate the change of date, then everything will continue as per previous arrangement.
In the case of a cancellation, all deposits are non-refundable regardless of the notice period given.

Customers who have paid the full amount due and then cancel their booking :

  • More than 30 days before the date of the wedding will be refunded their money paid, less $100 per vehicle deposit, or
  • Less than 30 days before the wedding, Unfortunately no refund will be payable.

Q. When you give a quote what is included?

A. Wedding Jaguars of Geelong will supply your fully licensed uniformed chauffeur. White ribbons on the cars, (we can use your supplied alternate colours if required, we will need 8 metres by 40mm wide for each car). We also supply an esky with ice that you can put your refreshments in. White umbrellas and we also carry the bridal emergency kit just in case.

Q. Are you a registered Wedding Car business?

A. We are fully licensed with the Victorian Taxi Directorate and a registered Wedding car business.

Q. What happens if we break down?

A. This is a question all wedding car suppliers should face openly and honestly. All of our wedding cars are regularly serviced, treated with care and maintained in excellent condition. Even modern vehicles can break down or suffer a puncture at the most inopportune moments.

We always have a suitable spare vehicle standing by on wedding days but this may be some distance from where the breakdown occurs or the pick up address. So despite the extreme unlikelihood of such an emergency occurring on your big day, it would be a sensible precaution to nominate a friend or guest at the wedding to be on standby just in case with their car, ready to step in until the relief car can get to you.

Q. Do the vehicles have seat belts and what about children?

A. Our two classic MK7 Jaguar wedding vehicles do not have rear seat belts. New laws introduced in November 2009 are very strict on the carrying of children and because of this we are unable to carry children under the age of 7 in these cars. We can supply a more modern white classic jaguar that has seat belts fitted as standard which will accommodate children in child or booster seats. Please contact us and we can make suitable arrangements for you.

Q. Can we drink & smoke in the cars?

A. We don’t allow any drinking or smoking in our cars but we are more than happy to serve you your drinks at opportune moments through the day.
